About Me

Hi my name is Jenessa. This site was developed in honor of my Uncle Mike who served in Iraq. My Aunt Jody and my cousins Phoenix and Corbbin were based in Germany while he was in Iraq. My Uncle Mike is safely home now and is retired from the Army, they now live outside of Houston. I am very grateful that God brought him home safely. A huge thank you to my Uncle Mike for serving and to all the troops who continue to risk their lives to protect all Americans.
This site is also dedicated to the men and women serving our country and the children who love them.
On December 9th, 2004 my grandpa went to heaven to be with Jesus. He supported me from the very beginning of Harmsway4kids and I will always miss him. He served in the Korean War and he taught me so much about freedom and the sacrifices that are made to keep freedom alive. Even though he is gone I know he is watching over me. He loved our country and a piece of his pride will go into every bracelet I make now. Fly with the angels grandpa, I love you and I know you are the brightest star shining down from heaven.
My Uncle Ronny went to heaven on December 22, 2005. He told anyone who would listen about my project and kept bracelets with him always to give out to friends and even strangers. I know that Heaven is a more beautiful place now that Uncle Ronnie is playing piano for the angels! I love you... your little klepto.

I designed the Harms Way 4 Kids bracelet in honor of the troops and their families. The yellow beads represent that someone you love is "in harm's way." The red, white and blue hearts represent our love and patriotism. My bracelet will rest safely on my arm until all the troops safely return home.
"When smiles will replace the tears and the bell of freedom will ring at last for children everywhere."

With a lot of help and love I am hoping to provide a bracelet for every troop and their family members. I am also giving them to anyone that would like to show their support of the troops.
