This candle is being lit for my fiance, SN John Hewes. I love him with all my heart and hope for him to return soon. He is loved by many people and we all think of him everyday. He is the bravest man that I know and I am very proud of him. I thank him and the entire military for their hard work and detication to keep our country free. I am not afraid for I know that he will come home to me and I look forward to that day. GOD BLESS AMERICA

I would like to light a candle for my husband, GM1 Edward Butcher who is serving aboard the USS Kearsarge. Honey, you're my best friend and I love you with all my heart. The boys and I miss you very much. I wish you could see how proud we are of you. Stay safe and always remember, we will be waiting at the pier.
My thoughts and prayers also go out to all service members and their families. May the liberation of this oppressed country be swift and thorough, so that they may taste the freedoms that our country so often takes for granted. May the lives already lost be held in our Almighty Father's hands, and those missing be found and reunited with their loving families.

I wake up every morning proudly missing you and I go to bed every night proudly missing you. The point is not that I miss you (even though I do). The point is I am so proud of you. You are my "Iron Eagle Provider" and I could not imagine my life without you. This candle will burn on the computer, and in my heart until GOD returns you safely to us.
