I would like to light a candle for my father, Mike Chamorro, in whose honor this site was made. He is a wonderful, loving and brave man and I love him more than anything in the world. This is the second war I have had to see my dad off to, and it has been an emotional time for me, but I know that he will make it home safely. I count the hours until I can see my father again. Though our times together may be few and far between, he always resides in my heart.

I would like to light a candle, not only for Mike, but for his daughter Amanda...our daughter. This is Amanda's second time to go through a war with her dad gone. The first time was 12 years ago in Desert Storm. This time is much harder for her because she is much more aware of the ramifications of war. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike and our yellow ribbons are tied around our trees awaiting his safe return home just as they were 12 years ago.

To all the men and women out there fighting for our country I lke to
thank all of you guys for risking your lives so we can sleep safe at
night. I know that some brave souls died so far and I pray that God will let all of them come on safely and have Saddam give up. I have a friend in the Navy I don't know where he is at right now but I pray that he is safe where ever he might be. I pray everynight that all of our troops come home. I am only 20 turning 21 next month in may and I am scared to death. So I know that we will kick some booty. I love you Josh come home safe God Bless You
