I could not have reached one quarter million bracelets without the
help of all the students around the country at National and State Student
Council conferences. I will never forget the friends I have made and
I am grateful for each of them. To all the advisors, teachers and admin staff
and to NASSP who continues to support me, I send my love. You and the students
who make bracelets with me make it possible for me to continue my
project. April 10, 2007
A very special thanks to each one of the students across the country
who have helped make bracelets and listened to me speak. I hope that when you
left you took with you some great memories, new friendships and a knowledge
that you are our future leaders. You must go back to your schools and help all
the students get involved in their communities, no matter how big or small the
project they can make a significant difference in their communities. My love to
all the students in Montana, ND, Louisiana, Indiana, and Idaho who invited me to
come to their conferences. Your help has made it possible for me to reach
267,000 bracelets. I love you all! April 10, 2007
A huge thank you to Jean Degier and the employees at

help no matter how many orders we have to fill.
Amanda, Thank you for making my Fort Hood trip a
memory I will treasure always. I am happy that your fam
has been reunited. I hope we will meet again when you come
home from Germany. Thank you General Odierno for getting Saddam.
Karen T, I can't imagine going through life
without you as my friend. Thank you for our long
distance friendship and for making my trip to
Washington DC so wonderful. There are few hearts in
the world as big as yours. Your heart holds the
whole United States Army and your hand continues to
reach out and touch them when they are in pain and
suffering. I pray the Lord will always watch over
you and continue to use you to bless the lives of
so many others as you have blessed mine.
To everyone at the Pentagon! That day will be
forever etched in my mind. I learned so many
important things and met so many wonderful people
that have very hard jobs. Don't be surprised if
someday I really stand behind that podium in the
Pentagon news conference room maybe as the first
woman 4-Star general. Watch for me.
